Naruto Fan’s Eye-Popping Itachi Cosplay Is Something to Crow About
Akatsuki participant and former ANBU captain Itachi Uchiha are brought to life in a stunning and haunting cosplay that references Genjutsu’s abilities.
Bryan Dracula, aka BZNintendo, is a costume designer extraordinaire who has created an eerie rendition of Itachi Uchiha from Naruto.
Posting on Reddit photos of the bloody Itachi cosplay feature the character in his Akatsuki costume. The crows are all around him and one mysteriously emerges from his eye. It’s an eerie and appropriate image of the master of ninjutsu.

The missing-nin and former ANBU captain isn’t the only cartoon character BZNintendo has brought to life. Reddit’s account showcases photos of similar recreations of Pokémon‘s Guzma as well as My Hero Academia’s Shigaraki. BZNintendo has also cosplayed video game characters like Cloud Strife or Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII.
The History of the Naruto Anime
The Naruto manga by Masashi Kishimoto appeared in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 1999 until 2014 and has more than 250 million copies sold across the globe, the series stands alongside Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Balland Tite Kubo’s Bleachas one of the best-selling manga of all time. The tale follows the titular orange-clad ninja as he pursues his goal to become a Hokage. Naruto, along with Sakura and Sasuke as his Jonin Instructors, learns to become a shinobi of great power. Also, he uncovers hidden secrets about the world.

Studio Pierrot adapted Kishimoto’s manga into two anime shows -Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Naruto and Naruto Shippuden which first ran between 2002 and 2017- and the sequel, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and is in the process of being completed. To commemorate the first series’ 20th anniversary, four brand-new Naruto episodes will release on September 20, 2023. There are a variety of versions of the show in other mediums, including tie-in films as well as video games and guidebooks. Novelizations are also made. Through the years, many merchandising companies released a variety of naruto collectibles. For instance, the maker of figurines FanHome has launched a subscription service for the ninja-centric series which provides its members with each month a hand-painted character each month.
Of course, Itachi isn’t the only fan-favorite Naruto character that has inspired stunning costumes. Izanamitan a well-known cosplayer, posted photos of their Kushina Uzumaki costumes earlier this month. The outfit highlights her vibrant red hair and references her Adamantine Sealing Chains technique. In addition, Izanamitan also fabricated a strikingly accurate cosplay of Ino Yamanaka. The outfit highlights the Leaf Village Kunoichi’s blue eyes and long blonde hair.
Kishimoto’s Naruto manga is distributed by VIZ Media in North America and the adaptations of the anime by Studio Pierrot are available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
