One Piece Fan Art Perfectly Captures Yamato and Carrot as BFFs

This heartwarming piece of One Piece fanart features Illustrator Chancil, who brings together two of the Straw Hats’ most powerful allies.

Both Yamato and Carrot, are fan favorites who have made huge contributions to the heroes in the Eiichiro Oda series but had very few interactions during the recent Wano arc. Chancel, an artist, has created a charming new artwork that captures the bond between these two great personalities. Yamato and Carrot both have heavy burdens as protectors in Wano, and the Mink tribe respectively. But, you wouldn’t know that from this charming design which also includes adorable Jolly Rogers for each character’s potential pirate crew.

Are Yamato and Carrot in a Relationship?

Yamato and Carrot have a notable connection. This may be a spoiler to anime-only One Piece viewers. It is about how close they were to become official Straw Hats. However, they parted ways after Wano. Some fans found it difficult to accept the Oni Princess’s decision not to leave Wano as a guardian. Yamato is quickly becoming one of the most beloved characters in the manga, and one of its most cosplayed. Carrot has been around for a while, having made her debut in the Zou arc. She also assisted the Straw Hats during their fight against Big Mom in the Whole Cake Island episode, winning over many fans with her incredible fighting skills as well as her obsession with carrots.

The One Piece manga bid farewell to Yamato, Carrot, in 2022. However, anime fans will continue to spend time with them as announced a hiatus from March 19. This is just one of many delays that the anime has suffered while adapting the Wano series. It has been a long-running series and has also seen it grow to be the longest. Episode 892 was the first episode in the arc. However, with the final battles of the Straw Hats vs. the Beast Pirates heating up, it may be the end of the run.
